CBC Names Interim Men’s Basketball Coach

Coach Wes Sullivan has been names Interim Men's Basketball coach at Central Baptist College. Coach Sullivan comes to Central Baptist College after serving two years as a volunteer assistant coach for the Lady Warriors at Hendrix College.

 

From 2008-12, Coach Sullivan served as the Director of Coaching for Team Arkansas Elite girls basketball program. Under his direction, Arkansas Elite captured 14 AAU State Championships, appeared in seven national AAU Final Fours and won one AAU National Championship.

Coach Sullivan was an assistant baseball coach for the University of Central Arkansas in Conway for three seasons in the late 1990's. He played baseball for one year at University of Arkansas Little Rock where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, and then transferred to the University of Central Arkansas where he was an All-Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player in 1993.

A native of Little Rock, Coach Sullivan graduate from J.A. Fair School in 1989 and lettered in four sports. Coach Sullivan currently resides in Sherwood with his wife, Jennifer, and daughters Julia, Riley and Clara.
