Transfer Credit

Students wishing to transfer to CBC must submit an official transcript from all previously attended institutions to the Registrar for evaluation. Only courses with a grade of “C” of higher will be accepted for transfer credit.

Grades from transfer hours will not be calculated in the cumulative grade point average at CBC. Upon review of transcript(s), a Transfer Credit Summary will be provided to the student.

Transfer Credit Policy

Applicants must have a 2.00 cumulative grade point average to be admitted unconditionally. Applicants with a grade point average below 2.00 may be admitted on final probation with conditions, if they are eligible for readmission at their previous institution. • Advisors will be notified of final probation status and limitations
    • Institutional financial aid will not be awarded to students admitted on final probation.
    • Students must earn a 2.0 in their first semester in order to re-enroll.
  • A minimum grade of “C” is required for transfer of credit.
  • Grades from transfer work will not be used in calculating cumulative grade point average at CBC.
