Endowed Scholarships

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN A CHRIST-CENTERED ENVIRONMENT

Making a gift to an Endowed Scholarship, either by establishing an Endowed Scholarship or contributing to an existing Endowed Scholarship, can be one of the most rewarding ways to give to Central Baptist College.

Central Baptist College has over seventy endowed scholarships representing approximately $3 million in contributions. Endowed scholarships serve as a lasting tribute because for all of the endowed scholarships at the institution, the initial donation is placed in the permanent college endowment. The initial donation, or principal, will never be spent; only the interest will be awarded as scholarships. Endowed scholarships are awarded by vote of the CBC Scholarship Committee, taking into account the qualifications and eligibility of the applicants as detailed in each scholarship agreement.

The Named Endowed Scholarship Program

Establishing a new Endowed Scholarship may be initiated for as little as $1,000 but must grow to at least $10,000 in seven years. The donor will have the ability to name the endowed scholarship and determine the criteria by which the scholarship will be awarded. For more information contact Amy Reed, Director of Development, at areed@cbc.edu or 501-205-8799.
