Institutional Scholarships

The scholarships listed on this page are not available for PACE students.

CBC offers a wide range of institutional scholarships to help fit the needs of a wide variety of students. Listed below are the different types of institutional scholarships we offer and their qualifications.  There are two categories of scholarships.  Students may receive only one scholarship from each category.  Category 1 and Category 2 scholarships may be combined up to the total actual cost of tuition and fees.

Academic 

  • Annual amounts range from $2,250 to Full Tuition (Tuition only - Fees and room & board not included.)
  • Minimum ACT Score of 19 and GPA of 2.5
  • High Priority Deadline: December 10th;  2nd Deadline:  February 15th
  • Must have application, application fee, ACT score, and 6-semester transcript in by deadline (All applicants will automatically be considered for Academic Scholarship after these documents have been submitted to the Admission Office.  There is NO scholarship application form.)
Athletic
  • Amounts vary and are at the discretion of the athletic department
  • Must meet admissions criteria

GMA Scholarship

Awarded to the National Miss GMA. 

Ministry Discount for Ministry Students: Application

A Ministry Discount may be awarded by the CBC Scholarship Committee upon review of a completed application. 

Decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final. 

Only students in the traditional program meeting ALL the following criteria are eligible to be considered for the Ministry Discount
  1. Licensed or ordained to the preaching ministry by a qualified church,
  2. Actively attending or serving in a qualified church,
  3. Substantiated annually by a letter from the qualified church.

Ministry Discount for Wives & Dependent Children:  Application

A Ministry Discount may be awarded by the CBC Scholarship Committee upon review of a completed application.  Decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final.

Only students in the traditional program meeting ALL the following criteria are eligible to be considered for the Ministry Discount:
  1. The wife of an ordained preacher in a qualified church OR a legal dependent [as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)] son or daughter of an ordained preacher in a qualified church,
  2. Substantiated annually by a letter from the qualified church.

Mr. Galilean Scholarship

Awarded to the National Mr. Galilean.

Music: 

  • Amounts vary and are at the discretion of the music department
  • Must meet admissions criteria

SOAR Scholarship

Awarded to an attendee of the SOAR Youth Conference.

Transfer Scholarship

Level 1

  • Annual Amount:  $7,000
  • Minimum of 30 transferable hours and a 3.75 cumulative GPA

Level 2

  • Annual Amount:  $5,000
  • Minimum of 15 transferable hours and a 3.0 cumulative GPA

CBC Legacy Scholarship

  • Awarded to students who have at least one parent or grandparent who graduated from CBC and is a current member of the CBC Alumni Association.
  • $500 per year/$250 per semester for up to 8 semesters.
  • Must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA and enroll in at least 12 hours per semester.

CBC Multiples Scholarship

  • Twins, triplets, etc. attending CBC concurrently
  • Twins each receive a tuition discount of 25%.
  • Triplets each receive a tuition discount of 30%.
  • Quadruplets each receive a tuition discount of 35%.
  • Discount increasing by 5% for each additional sibling up to 50% maximum.
  • Recipients must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA and enroll in at least 12 hours per semester.
  • Each semester, the discount percentage will be awarded based on the number of siblings enrolled at CBC that semester.  At least two siblings must be enrolled to receive the discount.

CBC Sibling Scholarship

  • Siblings attending CBC concurrently
  • $1000 per year/$500 per semester per sibling for up to 8 semesters
  • Recipients must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA and enroll in at least 12 hours per semester.
  • At least two members of the sibling group must be enrolled concurrently for the scholarship to continue to be awarded.
