Student Health Clinic
Central Baptist College began offering health services in the fall of 2006. Services are provided by a Registered Nurse Practitioner in collaboration with a local physician. The Registered Nurse Practitioner provides basic medical assessment and treatment for minor illnesses. She may prescribe medications if necessary.
Our current Registered Nurse Practitioner on staff is Shelley Clifton, a R.N.P. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas. She has prior experience in Family Practice.
Any student who has paid the student health fee may come to the Student Health Clinic as often as needed.
Medical problems that cannot be resolved on campus will be referred to a local physician or to the Conway Regional Medical Center, located six blocks from the CBC campus.
Office Location and Hours
The Student Health Clinic is located in the Mabee Student Services Complex in the Student Services Office. Office hours are Monday 8 am to 4 pm, Wednesday 8 am to 12 noon, and Friday 8 am to 4 pm.
