Connect Day Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Connect Day?
Connect Days are designed for new CBC students to easily get them connected to different components of CBC including staff, faculty and current students, major policies, campus services, financial aid and more.

Am I required to attend a Connect Day?
If you are a new CBC student beginning in the Fall 2020, then you are required to attend a Connect Day. This will allow you to get important information you need before school starts!  We do understand that every student may not be able to make it due to their circumstances (such as living in an International Country or several states away), but we have a plan in place just for you.  Contact Marieca Ashworth, Student Services Coordinator, at or (501) 205-8922 and arrange for an advising appointment by phone.

What if I am not able to attend a Connect Day?
You will need to stay in contact with your Admissions Counselor to ensure you know all the proper steps needed to be completed in order to be ready to begin CBC. In addition, you will be required to attend one of the New Student Orientation sessions that will take place during the first week of classes.

Will I be able to make my class schedule during Connect Day?
Yes!  IF you have been cleared with Admissions to register. To be cleared, you just have provided the following documents:

  • Application to Admission
  • ACT or SAT Scores
  • Tuition Deposit
  • Housing deposit (if living on campus)
  • On- or Off-campus housing form
  • Copy of Immunization Records
  • All Required Transcripts

What time is Connect Day?

A typical Connect Day will begin at 9:00am, with check-in being from 8:30-9:00am. The end time will depend on what options you want to partake in, but the average ending time is 4:00pm. A light breakfast will be served in addition to lunch.
