Anderson Presents at State Capitol

CBC Student Austin Anderson Presents Poster at the Arkansas State Capitol Conway, Ark. (March 10, 2020) - On Wednesday, February 19, Central Baptist College student Austin Anderson participated in the Undergraduate Research Posters at the Arkansas State Capitol event. Held annually, this event allows college and university Arkansas STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) students to present their scientific work to state elected officials. The event was held in the Arkansas State Capitol Rotunda.
Austin Anderson presented her poster entitled F-box protein-mediated selective proteolysis and its importance in cancer therapy. Austins research is done in conjunction with Central Baptist College Associate Professor of Biology, Dr. Mi-Seon Seong and is funded by Arkansas INBRE. Central Baptist College is an Arkansas INBRE (IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence) Affiliated Institution.
