Norris Promoted to Director of Student Success

Mr. Kerry Norris has been promoted to the Director of Student Success at Central Baptist College. Norris received an A.A. in General Business from Central Baptist College, a B.B.A. in General Business Administration and a M.S. of College Student Personnel Services and Administration from the University of Central Arkansas. Previous to his promotion at CBC, Norris served as the First Year Experience Coordinator at CBC. He has also served as the Campus Life Coordinator for Student Services, as well as a Financial Aid Counselor in the Financial Aid Office. As the Director of Student Success, Norris will be responsible for planning and implementing all orientation programs. He will assume coordination and oversight of career services and at risk student programming including tutoring, the Anytime Alert System, the On Course freshman probation assistance program, and the chapel renewal program. Norris will also research and develop best practices for supporting at-risk student populations to aid in the college's retention efforts. In addition to his duties at CBC, Norris volunteers with the Toad Suck Daze committee and the Volunteer Conway committee.
