Recognized Student Organization

A Recognized Student Organization, RSO, is a group of Central Baptist College students joined together in the pursuit of a common purpose or to promote a common interest. The purpose of the organization is to promote campus involvement, positive relationships, and personal growth.

Disc Golf Team

The Disc Golf Team is for competitive and recreational players. Members compete regionally and nationally against other collegiate and community-based teams.

Fishing Club

The main purpose of the Fishing Club is to direct all focus on the glory of God and the saving Truth that is supplied to all men through Christ Jesus our Lord. Additionally, this group promotes the conservation of renewable natural resources and teaches members the principles of integrity and sportsmanship in competitive bass fishing tournaments.

Medical Professions Society

The Medical Professions Society is an organization that unites the diverse pre-professional health occupation students of Central Baptist College. The organization is driven by the spirit of humanitarianism, volunteerism, and the drive to bring comfort and healing to all through the power of God as He leads students into various medical professional interests.

Ministers Association

Commonly referred to as “MAs,” this group was organized in 1953 for the purpose of providing fellowship, inspiration, encouragement, and opportunities for ministry. Membership is composed of ministerial students and faculty. Bi-monthly meetings are held at announced times, usually the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 1:40.

President's Leadership Council

President’s Leadership Council (PLC) is a leadership program for junior and senior level students at Central Baptist College. The program is led by President Terry Kimbrow. The PLC Program is a leadership training program which introduces students to leadership principles through the use of books, guest lectures, and hand-on experience which allows students to apply the principles learned. The program also includes a personal professional development component with regard to things like professional dress, communication skills, and etiquette training.

Rotaract

The Rotaract Club is part of a global community of college students and young professionals. Members meet monthly to plan service projects and develop their leadership skills. The Rotaract Club is sponsored by the Conway Noon Rotary Club. Members have the opportunity to serve side-by-side with community leaders from all over Conway.

Membership is open to all who commit to abide by the Rotary Four Way Test:

“Of the things we think, say, or do….1.) Is it the truth? 2.) Is it fair to all concerned? 3.) Will it build goodwill and better friendship? 4.) Will it be beneficial to all concerned?”

Student Activities Board

The Central Baptist College Student Activities Board (SAB) strives to engage the college community by developing programs that entertain, educate, and enrich the spiritual and social lives of students. Members are committed to providing a variety of recreational activities in a welcoming environment, are given the opportunity to achieve personal growth, develop leadership skills, and build new relationships. SAB plans events such as Fall Hay Day, Harvest Party, and Spring Fling.

Student Orientation Staff

The Student Orientation Staff (SOS) is comprised of four team leaders and approximately 35 staff members. SOS assists the Director of Student Services with orientation activities including Mustangs Under Development Week (MUD Week). Staff is selected during the spring semester through an application and selection process.

Tribes and Tongues International Club

The Tribes and Tongues International Club strives to enrich the lives of all students from diverse backgrounds and to encourage their participation in campus activities.
