2018 Homecoming: Mighty Mustang Charge

Central Baptist College will host its annual Homecoming activities on Friday, February 2 and Saturday, February 3. Events begin on Friday with a Stampede Open House for prospective students starting at 2:30 p.m. Students interested in CBC should consider attending this event to learn more about scholarships, financial aid, the admissions process and much more. Students may sign up at cbc.edu/stampede.
On Friday afternoon, a Chili Cook- Off will be held in the Mabee Student Center. Student groups, alumni, and local businesses are encouraged to compete in the Chili Cook Off. The registration fee is $20 for all businesses. The event will have free admission and chili and hot dogs will be served. To register a Chili Cook-Off team email Meagan Lowry at mlowry@cbc.edu visit cbc.edu/chili. The fun continues at 6:30 p.m. with the Mustang Carnival! The carnival will take place in the A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse and will be fun for the entire family! Come join us for carnival games, prizes, a photo booth, and more! Admission is free and open to students, alumni and friends!
On Saturday join us as we dedicate the new Band Hall at 9:30 a.m. , we will enjoy performances by the CBC Band as well as the CBC Choir. At 9:45 a.m. we are inviting all former Basketball players to campus for a Basketball Reunion. Beginning at 10 a.m. you can enjoy an Alumni Softball game at the City of Colleges Park. The CBC Alumni Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the Dining Hall of the Mabee Student Service Building. Tickets are $11, and can be purchased at cbc.edu/homecoming.
Awards will be given to four alumni who have demonstrated incredible service to their community, their careers, and steadfast faith. The Distinguished Alumnus of the Year will be presented to Tom Mitchell, The Outstanding Young Alumnus of the year will be presented to Stephen and Ashley Castleberry, and Cody Hiland will be presented with the Mustang Community Impact Award. The highlight of the day begins in the A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse at 1:00 p.m. with the Lady Mustangs taking on Missouri Baptist. The 2018 Homecoming Court will be announced after the women's game and will be followed by the Mustangs going head to head with Missouri Baptist.
