Adjunct Faculty

Behavioral Science Adjunct Faculty
Description:
The Department of Behavioral Sciences at Central Baptist College is currently seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Psychological Statistics, Psychological Research, and Test and Measurements on campus. This appointment is a part-time position with a 4-month service period and an anticipated start date of January 11, 2024-May 7, 2024.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health, Human Services, or any related field. The candidate must have a record in teaching statistics in any area. Bus Driver
Job Description:
The Bus Driver is responsible for operating vehicles used to transport student athletes over specified routes to athletic games and competitions
Responsibilities:
· Inspects vehicle prior and after each use to ensure proper and safe operations
· Transports student athletes over specified routes to athletic games and competitions
· Flexibility with overnight trips and extended trips at irregular hours
· Works with Athletic Director for scheduling trips
· Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or other appropriate administrators

Director of physical plant
Central Baptist College is accepting applications for Director of Physical Plant. This position involves planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling all Physical Plant functions. It is responsible for all physical facilities, rental properties, physical plant budgets, preventative maintenance, repairs, housekeeping, equipment, and grounds.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Manages the overall operations of Physical Plant Department, including the performance of maintenance, rental property, grounds, HVAC systems, software controls and custodial tasks.
· Supervises building, grounds, maintenance, housekeeping and custodial personnel, tradesmen, contractors and/or their employees hired for specific work, and such other personnel as may be assigned or designated.
· Evaluates and ensures the efficient operation of the department, controlling operation expenses at a minimum level which is consistent with sound maintenance practices.
· Provides thorough training for physical plant employees.
· Identifies and implements personal development and technical training opportunities for Physical Plant Staff.
· Discusses major project assignments to supervisory staff to determine building and maintenance priorities.
· Repairs and maintains all facilities, rental properties, buildings, and grounds.
· Ensures proper upkeep of facilities to include safety, heating, air, ventilation, lighting, cleanliness, sanitation, general appearance of buildings and grounds, and emergency situations affecting the campus.
· Reviews present Preventative Maintenance program and updates as needed.
· Ensures parking facilities are maintained in good condition with adequate lightning and safety features.
· Supervises in-house remodeling and renovation projects of facilities.
· Coordinates work orders to ensure the timely and adequate accomplishment of projects.
· Maximizes use of work order system.
· Coordinates purchase of necessary supplies, equipment and services from appropriate sources and maintains proper inventory control over storage, maintenance, and consumable supplies.
· Prepares the annual budget for physical facilities in coordination with the Vice President for Finance.
· Afterhours (nights and weekends) may be required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control all aspects of physical plant activities.
· Ability to work with management systems and variety of skilled/unskilled, professional, administrative, and industry personnel.
· Basic knowledge of office administration, plant management, reporting, budgeting and control, and business operations. Knowledge of terms, nature of related trades, blueprints, buildings, grounds, equipment, housekeeping, construction, repair, maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, fire, safety management, BOCA & OSHA codes, and related matters in higher education.
· Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
· Willing to seek training.
· Willing to be accessible to ensure proper management and operation of plant activities.
Education and Experience
· B.S. in Business, Facilities Operations, Project Management, or a related field
· Five (5) years of supervisory/management experience in the construction, equipment, maintenance and repair, safety, or related areas.
