CBC To Host Meet The Mustangs Night

Conway, Ark. (Sept. 5, 2019) Central Baptist College has announced a night for both students and fans to come to their campus and meet the 2019-20 CBC student-athletes. Meet The Mustangs will happen on Thursday night, Sept. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Mabee Student Center. The idea was inspired by Marieca Ashworth and I brainstorming on how we could cultivate a more family like atmosphere between all the students, said Student Services Director Kaylee St. John. With 62 percent of our student body being athletes, we want to focus on helping them build relationships with others outside of their sport. This sparked the idea of a pep-rally like event where we could introduce the athletic teams to staff, faculty and the student body and the public. 

We hope that students cultivate relationships between one another from this event, continued St. John, a former Mustang softball player. We want to show our school spirit by making the athletes aware that we are supporting them as they play and represent CBC on the field, court, mat, or anywhere they compete. The public is invited to attend this free event and get to know the student-athletes at Central Baptist College.
