Central Baptist College Announces Inauguration of its 10th President

Central Baptist College is pleased to announce the inauguration of Dr. Jeremy Langley as its 10th President. The inauguration ceremony will take place on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Burgess Auditorium, followed by a reception on the campus lawn. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, and friends of the College are invited to attend this historic event.

Dr. Langley joined CBC in August 2024 as Executive Vice President, bringing a strong combination of administrative experience, pastoral leadership, and a deep commitment to Christ-centered education. Prior to his time at CBC, he served in a variety of roles at Southern Arkansas University, including Assistant to the President and Assistant Director of Development. He also faithfully served as Associate Pastor of Brister Baptist Church in Emerson, Arkansas, where he was actively involved in preaching, teaching, and ministry leadership.

Dr. Langley’s academic preparation reflects his dedication to both ministry and higher education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ouachita Baptist University, a Master of Public Administration from Southern Arkansas University, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology from BMA Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas, and a Doctor of Ministry in Ministry Leadership from Liberty University. His blend of theological training and administrative expertise uniquely equips him to lead CBC with clarity, compassion, and vision.

In May 2025, the CBC Board of Trustees officially appointed Dr. Langley as President, recognizing his steadfast leadership and deep alignment with the College’s mission of transforming lives through education that integrates Christian faith and academic excellence.

The April 10 ceremony will celebrate this significant moment in the life of the College. The program will feature prayers of dedication, special music, and an inaugural address from Dr. Langley as he shares his hopes and vision for Central Baptist College.

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy refreshments on the campus lawn and extend their congratulations to Dr. Langley and his family.
