Central Baptist College celebrated a historic milestone on June 16 with the success of its inaugural Giving Day, raising $78,600 through the generosity of alumni, friends, faculty, staff, parents, and supporters of the College.

Centered around the theme "Faithfully Forward: Where Faith Meets Calling," the 24-hour campaign inspired the CBC community to come together in support of scholarships, academic programs, student experiences, and campus initiatives. More than 120 donors participated in the inaugural event, demonstrating a shared commitment to investing in the future of Central Baptist College and its students.

"This first Giving Day exceeded our expectations and serves as a powerful reminder of what can happen when the CBC family comes together around a common mission," said Dr. Jeremy Langley, President of Central Baptist College. "Every gift represents a belief in our students and confidence in the work God is doing through this institution. We are deeply grateful for the generosity shown and excited about the impact these funds will have as we continue moving Faithfully Forward."

The campaign featured online giving opportunities, social media engagement, donor matches, and stories highlighting the transformative impact of a Christ-centered education. CBC is especially grateful to the generous donors who provided $15,000 in matching funds, a challenge that was fully met through the support of Giving Day participants. Throughout the day, supporters rallied behind CBC's mission to equip students for lives of faith, service, and leadership.

Michael Stephens, Director of Development, expressed appreciation for the overwhelming response.

"The success of our inaugural Giving Day is a testament to the strength and generosity of the CBC community," Stephens said. "It is humbling to see 125 donors come together in a single day to make an eternal impact on the lives of our students and beyond. We are grateful to see how the Lord used the generosity of our supporters to advance the mission of CBC and invest in the next generation of Christian leaders. We are incredibly thankful for every person who chose to be a part of this special day."

Giving Day was created to unite the CBC family around a shared purpose while providing an opportunity for supporters to make a direct impact on the College's mission. The funds raised will support areas of greatest need and help Central Baptist College continue preparing students to answer God's calling on their lives.
