Central Baptist College will host annual Homecoming activities on January 31 and February 1, 2020

Friday, January 31 This years events will begin on Friday with our annual Stampede Open House. This event is held for prospective students beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the Story Library. Students interested in CBC should consider attending this event to learn more about scholarships, financial aid, the admissions process and much more. Learn more and register to attend at cbc.edu/stampede. This year CBC will be honoring the 1968-1970 classes at our Half Century Club Induction. Activities include a special dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. If you are part of these classes, we will be sending more information on how to RSVP. We will also be sending information on some of our missing classmates, so be watching your mailbox for more details. An SOS Reunion will be held Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Story Library. We are celebrating 15 years of SOS! If you served on the Student Orientation Staff while attending CBC, then we want you here for this special reunion. Be sure and pull out that highlighter green or yellow shirt and make plans to attend! 


Saturday, February 1 A new event this year is our Campus Open House. On Saturday morning CBC will be offering an Open House for those that might want to tour our campus facilities. Facilities will be open beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. Leadership Scholar students will be available to help with information on each building and to help answer any questions you might have. Are you a former Homecoming Queen? Then join us for a Queens Gathering on Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. This event will allow our former queens to meet the 2020 homecoming court and to visit with friends. This event will be held in Caf 52 in the Story Library. As always CBC will hold the annual Alumni Luncheon beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Dining Hall located in the Mabee Student Services Complex. All proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the Kenneth Brown Scholarship fund. 


Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at cbc.edu/homecoming. Awards will also be given to our alumni who have demonstrated incredible service to the community, their careers, and steadfast faith. This year we will be awarding The Outstanding Young Alumnus of the Year, The Distinguished Alumnus of the Year and The Mustang Community Impact Award. 


Be watching for the announcement of these award winners in January. Don't forget to join us in the A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse at 1:00 p.m. with the Lady Mustangs taking on Harris-Stowe State University. the 2020 Homecoming Court will be announced after the womens game and will be followed by the Mustangs also taking on Harris-Stowe.
