Remembering Cody Gracey Miller On Friday night August 12, 2016, the Central Baptist College community lost one of its own. Student Cody Gracey Miller of Forrest City, Ark. was killed in a vehicle accident on Dave Ward Drive in Conway, the night before move in day for the Fall 2016 semester. Cody was a member of the CBC Mustangs Junior Varsity Baseball Team, had just received a scholarship to run cross country for CBC during its inaugural year, and was a member of Student Orientation Staff. Cody was preparing to begin his second year at CBC. Cody would have been a member of the 2019 graduating class, and his family will be in attendance as Cody is remembered. In November of 2016, the 2016-2017 Class of the Presidents Leadership Council established the Cody Gracey Miller Endowed Scholarship. The PLC class raised $5,120.16 toward a $10,000 goal to fully endow the scholarship fund. Half of the gate proceeds at the April 27 game will be donated to the Cody Gracey Miller Endowed Scholarship Fund and additional donations will be accepted in order to reach the $10,000 goal. Contributions to the Cody Gracey Miller Endowed Scholarship Fund can be made online at cbc.edu/endowed. On the donation form select Other in the Designation field and then type Cody Gracey Miller Endowed Scholarship in the area provided.
