Important Information for the Fall 2021 Semester

Welcome students! Whether you are beginning Central Baptist College for the first time or this is the start of your last semester, there are some important updates and information you need to know! Please read the information below as you prepare for this upcoming semester at CBC.

CBC E-mail
​
All communication from CBC offices will be sent exclusively to each student’s CBC e-mail account. It is vital that you check your CBC e-mail multiple times weekly. New students will receive their cbc.edu email during Connect Day.
​
Connect your CBC e-mail to your mobile device or check it at the My CBC Student Portal.
​
New Student Orientation/ Connect Day
​
To best serve you, our new students, amid currently changing directives and guidelines, we have made the decision to transition Connect Day programming to a virtual format. Our staff has been working very hard to ensure that you will receive the same information in the virtual format that you would have received in person. Please go to cbc.edu/connect and register for the July 21st Virtual Connect Day.
Remember that Connect Day is required for all incoming new students.

Class Registration

If you have NOT already registered for Fall 2020 classes, please follow the instructions below.
​
New Students – Please register for New Student Orientation/Connect Day on July 21st to be assigned an Academic Advisor who will register you for classes.
​
Returning Students – If you need to contact your Advisor directly, please E-MAIL them. For information on the complete registration process, please visit cbc.edu/registration.

Financial Aid

If you have not already begun the financial aid process for this upcoming year, please read the following documents to see what all you need to complete. Time is of the essence. The financial aid process must be completed EACH academic year for all students. CBC must receive your completed FAFSA by July 31st to ensure processing before the fall payment deadline.

Tuition Bill Payment

Once you are registered for classes and your financial aid is completed, you MUST pay any remainder of your fall final bill balance before you will be allowed to move into the Residence Hall and/or begin classes. You may pay in the Business Office, with online bill payment through Campus Anyware, or set up an automatic payment plan.

Steps to Complete Online Bill Payment
1. Log into Campus Anyware and click the Online Payment link under Student Services. You will use your student ID number and pin number to log in. (instructions in the link below)
2. Your current account balance will be displayed, as well as a box to enter the amount you want to pay. Make your selection and click Continue.
3. A new window will open with a payment form. Fill out all information and then click Pay Now.
Please note that the online bill payment system will accept credit cards, online checks, and debit cards. For questions or problems with the online bill payment system, please contact techsupport@cbc.edu.

Automatic Payment Plan
Students may schedule payments through an automatic payment plan. For more information please visit, Payment Plans. If you have any problems, please contact the Business Office.
Estimated payments may be adjusted upon completion of the registration process.
Important Reminder: ALL STUDENTS must pay or make arrangements to pay tuition, fees, and room & board by 5:00 pm Wednesday, August 21, 2019. If a student fails to complete this, their registration a $200 late fee will be assessed. Students will then have until 4:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2019 to pay the amount in full or make payment arrangements or they will be removed from all courses.

Housing & Residence Life

If you are living on campus this fall (both new or returning students), please read the important information below. Find out when you are scheduled to move in, what you can and cannot bring, and more!
Please note that you CANNOT move in until you have registered for classes and either fully paid or made payments arrangements with the Business Office. NO EXCEPTIONS.

MUD Week
​
Attention all new students! You DO NOT want to miss CBC’s annual MUD (Mustangs Under Development) Week! Beginning on new student move-in day, this fun-filled week is designed to help you learn more about CBC and meet other students. Our Student Orientation Staff is working hard to plan fun activities for you to connect with other students. Most students find their closest friends while at CBC during MUD Week so be sure and get out of the residence hall or come to campus and take part in the week!

New Direct Deposit for Student Refunds
​
CBC now has the ability to direct deposit student credit balances! This new direct deposit system allows the funds from your credit balance to be processed in two days. You are strongly encouraged to enroll in this new system if you will need to access credit on your account. If you do not enroll in direct deposit, your excess funds will be be available to you up to two weeks after.
To enroll in the new direct deposit system, you will need to complete the ACH Authorization form and return it to the Business Office.
