Central Baptist College (CBC) is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and equitable environment for all students, employees, and visitors. In keeping with our Christian mission, CBC does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or retaliation of any kind.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs and activities that receive federal funding. CBC complies fully with Title IX and is dedicated to protecting the rights of our community.
Title IX Coordinator
The College has designated the following Title IX Coordinator to handle inquiries regarding Title IX, reports of sex discrimination, and questions about the College’s Title IX policies and procedures:
Reports of sex discrimination or harassment may be made in person, by mail, by telephone, or by email using the contact information above. Reports may be submitted at any time, including outside normal business hours.

Training & Education at CBC
To ensure that our policies are applied fairly and consistently, CBC provides regular training to all Title IX personnel (Coordinator, investigators, decision-makers, and informal resolution facilitators).
Training Covers
• Definitions of sexual harassment and sex discrimination
• How to serve impartially and avoid bias
• How to investigate and adjudicate complaints fairly
• The grievance process, hearings, and appeals
• Informal resolution procedures
• Case studies and scenarios relevant to campus life

Who Receives Training?
• All Title IX staff (Coordinator, investigators, decision-makers, facilitators)
• All employees (faculty and staff) at least annually
• Student leaders (Resident Assistants, SGA officers, athletic captains) before the start of each academic year
• Athletics coaches and staff prior to each season
• Residence life staff before dorms open each semester
