Admissions Process

 

Are you are a student who just wants to take a class or two and does not want earn a full degree?  Or would you like to additional courses in summer or winter sessions?  Central Baptist College has options for you!

Part-time/Transient Admission 

If you are currently attending another college or university but would like to take a course at Central Baptist College, you’re in the right place. 

Your admission to Central Baptist College will be determined once you submit the following documents to the Admissions Office:

  1. Application for Admission

  2. $25 Non-Refundable Application Fee*

  3. ACT/SAT Score Report (If applicable)

  4. Official Transcripts from All Attended Colleges and Universities**

 

*Payable upon application. Cash or check can be sent to the Admissions Office. To pay by credit/debit card please call the Business Office (501) 205-4004  

 

**Official transcripts should be sent from the requesting institution in a sealed envelope.  If a transcript is sent to you it must remain in a sealed envelope to be considered official. Each institution’s transcript request process is different. However, each institution’s website should have specific instructions

  • Consult your faculty advisor at your current institution before you register for a course to be sure it applies to your degree plan.

  • Application

Current Students

This process is only for currently enrolled Central Baptist College students:

Attendance & Withdrawal Policy

Online students are required to participate in courses by 11:59pm on the Sunday night before the second week of classes or they will be administratively withdrawn by the instructor with a grade of W and will receive a 50% tuition refund. Instructors must e-mail the Registrar’s Office to initiate a withdrawal. Class participation is defined by the instructor.

A student who wishes to officially withdraw from a Summer Intersession course must send an e-mail to registrar@cbc.edu requesting withdrawal from the course. E-mail must contain student name, CBC ID Number, Course Number, Course Name, and reason for withdrawal. The time stamp on the e-mail will determine the date of the withdrawal (see time listings on deadlines in the calendar).

 

Tuition & Fees

  • $335.00 Per Credit Hour (the second digit of the course number indicates credit hours)

  • $60.00 Science Course Fee

  • $500.00 or $650.00 Internship Fee (Internships are charged a flat fee vs. per credit hour tuition)
