Admissions Process

 

If you have graduated from high school (or will be soon) and this is your first time to attend college, you’re in the right place!  

We are excited to know you are considering Central Baptist College, and we can’t wait to help you learn more about becoming a student. follow the next steps below.

Documents for Admission

 

Your admission to Central Baptist College will be determined once you submit the following documents to the Admissions Office:

  1. Application for Admission & $25 Application Fee.

  2. Test Scores (For First-Time Entering Freshmen)

    • ACT: Must earn at least a 19 Composite score and a minimum reading score of 19 on

    • SAT: 19 equivalent

    • Accuplacer: (Due to COVID-19) 250 Composite & 250 Accuplacer Reading or a 980 EBRW+M on the SAT.

  3. Current high school transcript with grades through at least the sixth semester of high school (minimum GPA of 2.50).

Acceptance Next Steps

 

Once accepted your Personal Admissions Officer will help you complete the following steps for enrollment:

  1. Submit a copy of your immunization records (Proof of 2 MMR shots required)

  2. Pay $100 Tuition Deposit (This amount is deducted from your final bill)*

  3. Complete the On-Campus or Off-Campus Housing Application.

  4. Pay $250 Housing Deposit (On-Campus Only)*.

  5. Submit your final official high school transcript or GED (Make sure the transcript includes class rank, GPA and graduation date).

  6. Complete FAFSA (Only applicable if you qualify and accept institutional awards, federal or state grants, or loans).

  7. Work with your Personal Admissions Counselor to register for classes.

  8. Accept your financial aid award letter.

  9. Pay your bill in full or make payment arrangements with the Business Office (If living on campus, your bill must be paid in full before move-in day).

 

*Required for Class Registration:

The Tuition Deposit is 100% refundable only if requested in writing before May 1st (June 1st, 2020 Due to COVID-19).

 

The Housing Deposit is refundable only if requested in writing before July 1st. The Application Fee is non-refundable. (Deposits and fees can be paid at separate times)
